Letter from the Chapter
Dear Potential New Members,
Welcome to the Alpha Chapter of Delta Delta Delta! We are so excited that you are interested in recruitment. The recruitment process is not only an amazing experience that you will remember forever, but it will change your life. There is a high chance that you will find a chapter to call home after recruitment, and we hope Tri Delta can be that chapter for you!
Our sisterhood is incredibly diverse, with sisters hailing from all over the world, majoring and minoring in subjects from biology to business. We are strong, independent women who bring new and different perspectives, interests, and passions to the table. At the same time, however, we share a common bond of constant love and support for one another. Our ideals of truth, self-sacrifice, and friendship are ones that we not only demonstrate everyday, but will continue to carry with us for the rest of our lives. Our sisterhood does not end after college— it lasts for life.
Not only is our sisterhood strong, but so is our love for our national philanthropy, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Through our philanthropy events like Sincerely Yours and Delta House of Pancakes (DHOP), we not only get to spread the word about the incredible work that St. Jude does, but we also further strengthen our own sisterhood and connection to Panhellenic life here at Boston University.
Tri Delta provides so many wonderful opportunities, from scholarships to exciting member development programs like our mental health initiative, Behind Happy Faces. There is something for everyone here! Tri Delta is a home where you can be yourself and belong to something bigger.
Personally, joining Tri Delta has been such a rewarding experience for me and I am thankful that I went through recruitment to not only find my home, but my best friends, roommates, and lifetime sisters. My experience in our chapter with leadership opportunities and strong philanthropic work has helped shape me into the person. I hope that you too can find a home here with us!
If you have any further questions about Tri Delta or Boston University Panhellenic life, please do not hesitate to reach out. We look forward to meeting you soon!
Delta Love,
Ally Tellstone
