A letter from the President

Hello and welcome to the official website of the Alpha Chapter of Delta Delta Delta at Boston University! My name is Sage and I welcome you to take some time to explore our page and learn more about why we are proud to call Tri Delta our home.

Tri Delta was founded here at Boston University in 1888 at the Park St. Church. Each year, we meet with the Boston Alumni Chapter at the Park St. Church to honor our founders and celebrate our chapter’s history. As the Alpha Chapter, we feel a very strong connection to our founders and we take pride in our membership with the Alpha Chapter.

When I joined Tri Delta during Formal Recruitment in the Spring of 2021, we were all still experiencing the height of COVID-19. My entire recruitment process was completed virtually and I didn’t get to meet any of my sisters until the following Fall semester. Even though being remote as a new member was tough, Tri Delta was able to welcome me and the rest of my member class with open arms. 

Throughout my years as a Tri Delta sister, I’ve learned how to be myself and feel comfortable voicing my thoughts and opinions. My sisters have always urged me to grow as an individual, and that is what I love most about our sisterhood. Every Tri Delta woman is unique in their own way and we encourage our sisters to express their individuality. As a collective, we are all different but hold the same values.

I am so excited to meet all of our new members this year and I can’t wait for formal recruitment. The Tri Delta sisterhood at Boston University has done so much for me as an individual, so I want to share the same love and support to all of our new, collegiate, and alumnae members.
